EAD Course on Ostensive Policing of Illegal Agricultural Inputs offers continuous professional training to police officers and public and private security agents who work in regions of production, circulation and commercialization of illegal agricultural inputs, in addition to those that are directly or indirectly affected.
The main objective is that the graduate is better qualified to act in the identification, investigation, handling, as well as to know the techniques, procedures and risks associated with the handling of seized products.
To this end, the Course was designed to provide students with knowledge about the main concepts associated with to this market, the international, regional and national panorama and the mechanisms of international and interagency cooperation. In addition, the course also offers a wide variety of practical knowledge, applicable in the daily life of security agents in the conduct of their professional activity.
The body of instructors has academics, researchers, public agents and members of the private sector with extensive experience who will share good practices and disseminate their remarkable experiences in combating the illicit market in illegal agricultural inputs.
Public Security Agents (Civilian Police, Military Police, Highway Police, Intelligence and Inspection Agents, Criminal Police, Judiciary Agents, etc.) from Brazil and other Latin American countries, with priority given to those working in increased incidence of the illicit agricultural input market.
The Course will be held in 8 weeks with 30 total hours of activities between October 31 and December 23, 2022, considering the viewing of video classes for each module, reading the Course Handout, and the answers to the evaluation questionnaires of each class.
