Dear and valued partners of the School of Multidimensional Security, as a training institution for security agents, we would like to offer our solidarity to the instructor of the Multidimensional Security at Borders course, Mr. Fernando Ariel Ruiz Díaz Ortega, who taught the class “Institutional Environment for Cooperation” of the module “Legislation and Protocols for Cooperation, Integration and Security of the Triple Border”.
On April 25, 2022, in the district of Juan León Mallorquín, department of Alto do Paraná, Paraguay, commissioner Fernando Ariel Ruiz Díaz Ortega was shot at, which mainly hit the front of the vehicle he was driving. None hit him directly and the alleged attackers fled.
We are touched by the event and we wish that Commissioner Fernando Ariel Ruíz Díaz Ortega is well.
As a partner of ESEM, he volunteered to make teaching materials available and to record a class for the academic content of the online course Multidimensional Security at Borders, contributing to the training of more than 4,500 security agents in Latin America.
